Clutches

Torque Limiters

Torque limiters from mobac are based on permanently excited powder clutches and utilize the magnetic properties of soft iron. Instead of an induction coil, a permanent magnet is used whose magnetic flux is adjusted by an adjustable shunt ring. This means that the transmitted torque can be precisely adjusted and remains constant regardless of the speed. These limiters are ideal for applications such as limiting the transmitted torque, protecting transmission elements and load simulation.

Torque Limiters

Torque limiters ensure precise limitation of the torque and protect drive components from overload. They offer constant power regardless of the speed.
