Current Controlled Hysteresis Brake

Current-controlled hysteresis brakes enable wear-free torque transmission by means of an electrically generated magnetic field that acts without contact via an air gap. The torque is precisely adjusted by regulating the current, making them ideal for applications that require precise tension control, such as film and paper processing. They are also used in test systems in the automotive industry for load testing actuators and servomotors.

The hysteresis brakes are designed for a temperature range of -30 to +85 °C.
